Star Wars Crochet Block Series: Part 1 – Yoda Block Pattern

I have been making Minecraft themed crochet blocks using corner to corner crochet for a while now (Minecraft Blocks series patterns can be found here) and thought it was about time I made some Star Wars themed crochet blocks too!.

I knew I had to start with a Yoda block, and now its finished I definitely need to do another slightly modified version for a baby Yoda – keep an eye out for that block in the next few weeks.

I have lots of other Star Wars themed crochet patterns too, including crochet Star Wars Lightsabers, BB8 soft toy, R2-D2.

Previous Crochet Corner To Corner Star Wars Block Makes include:

Baby Yoda Block, Ewok Block.

STar Wars Crochet Corner To Corner Yoda Block Pattern:

  • Special stitch: B (Mini Bobble):

ch2 [(yo, insert hook, yo, pull up, yo, pull through 2 loops)x2, yo, pull through all loops]x3.

  • Size: 17x17cm.
  • DK Wool.
  • Made using a 3.5mm crochet hook (if you want a bigger cube, you can use a bigger crochet hook, or smaller hook for a smaller cube).

Once you have made the 6 sides sew the pieces together down the sides, you can use a piece of foam or stuffing to fill the cube. If using a cube sew the pieces together around it, if your using stuffing sew all the sides together but leave a 10cm gap so you can then put the stuffing in then sew the gap closed.

Next sew the ears to the side of the block. With the top of the ear placed 2 blocks down from the top edge and 1 block back from the front edge. Sew down one side of the ear to secure then sew along the other side.
