Star Wars Crochet Block Series: Part 2 – Baby Yoda Block Pattern

After finishing my previous Star Wars Yoda block I knew I had to make a Baby Yoda version too. I slightly modified the Yoda pattern by adding in some pink detail to the ears. I’ve got a few more of these Star Wars blocks in progress and can’t wait to share them soon.

Previous Crochet Corner To Corner Star Wars Block Makes include:

Yoda block, Ewok Block.

STar Wars Crochet Corner To Corner Baby Yoda Block Pattern:

  • Special stitch: B (Mini Bobble):

ch2 [(yo, insert hook, yo, pull up, yo, pull through 2 loops)x2, yo, pull through all loops]x3.

  • Size: 17x17cm.
  • DK Wool.
  • Made using a 3.5mm crochet hook (if you want a bigger cube, you can use a bigger crochet hook, or smaller hook for a smaller cube).

Once you have made the 6 sides sew the pieces together down the sides, you can use a piece of foam or stuffing to fill the cube. If using a cube sew the pieces together around it, if your using stuffing sew all the sides together but leave a 10cm gap so you can then put the stuffing in then sew the gap closed.

Next sew the pink part of the ears onto the green part of the ears, then sew the ears to the side of the block. With the ear placed 2 blocks down from the top edge and 1 block back from the front. Sew down one side of the ear to secure, then sew along the other side.
