Crochet Circles Texture ‘Round In Circles’ Blanket Pattern

Time for more texture with a few crochet circles: ’round in circles’ blanket

After finishing my textured ‘Going Wavy’ blanket and cushion I decided to continue on the textured stitch path and after a while of trying out some different stitches and effects they gave I came across one which I could make a circle with. I really liked the circle effect and started making a blanket with it, it took quite a few attempts (and looks of undoing!) before I got the first few rows to look how I wanted but I finally got the circles laying in an order and position I liked and could continue with the rest of the blanket.

I liked the colour combination of the Going Wavy blanket and decided to use the same colours but swap them around so the main blanket was grey rather than purple and the border purple rather than grey.

I’m really happy with how it’s turned out and I’m glad I’ve stuck on the textured effects path – I have a few more ideas which will gradually appear over the next few months!

Crochet Wavy Stitch Textured Cushion Pattern: Going Wavy Again

I loved the texture the of the wavy stitches on my ‘Going Wavy’ blanket and decided to make a matching cushion. I wasn’t sure whether I should go for the same colour or try it in a different colour but I really liked the purple and greg combination I had used on the blanket so used it again! I will definitely be making some more of these soon – in different colours next time too!

Pattern for this cushion is now available on my Etsy and Ravelry shops.

Crochet Ladybird Storage Baskets Pattern

Flying by are some ladybird crochet storage baskets

Whenever I’m halfway through a set of crochet storage baskets I always seem to get an idea for the next set, and halfway through my summer storage baskets the idea to make some ladybird themed storage baskets came to mind. I got started on these not long after fishing my summer storage baskets but they have been sat in my work in progress bag making very little progress since then.

To be honest I had almost forgot they needed finishing until I was looking at all my half finished projects and saw them in there. I decided it was about time I got them finished and so set about getting them completed and now I have three completed storage ladybirds! Also on clue I now have my next basket idea!

Crochet Dachshund Dog Cowl Pattern: Perfect For Keeping Cozy In The Cold Winter Months

The weather has been so cold and wet recently I decided I needed to make something to wear which didn’t just keep me warm but to bring a bit of a smile on the dark days too. As a result I came up with a dachshund cowl!
