Time for more texture with a few crochet circles: ’round in circles’ blanket
After finishing my textured ‘Going Wavy’ blanket and cushion I decided to continue on the textured stitch path and after a while of trying out some different stitches and effects they gave I came across one which I could make a circle with. I really liked the circle effect and started making a blanket with it, it took quite a few attempts (and looks of undoing!) before I got the first few rows to look how I wanted but I finally got the circles laying in an order and position I liked and could continue with the rest of the blanket.
I liked the colour combination of the Going Wavy blanket and decided to use the same colours but swap them around so the main blanket was grey rather than purple and the border purple rather than grey.
I’m really happy with how it’s turned out and I’m glad I’ve stuck on the textured effects path – I have a few more ideas which will gradually appear over the next few months!
The pattern for this is available over on my Etsy and Ravelry shops.
