Minecraft Crochet Block Series: Part 10 -Axolotl Block Pattern

It’s time for another Minecraft corner to corner crochet block! I have opted to make an axolotl this time – I have wanting to make one for ages and I am so glad I’ve finally got round to making it.

Previous Crochet Corner To Corner Minecraft Block Makes include:

TNT Minecraft Block, Emerald Ore Block, Magma Block, Chest Block, Redstone Ore Block, Diamond Ore Block, Pumpkin Head, Glass Block.

Minecraft Crochet Corner To Corner axolotl Block Pattern:

  • Size: 17x17cm.
  • DK Wool.
  • Made using a 3.5mm crochet hook (if you want a bigger cube, you can use a bigger crochet hook, or smaller hook for a smaller cube).

Once you have made the 6 sides sew the pieces together down the sides, you can use a piece of foam or stuffing to fill the cube. If using a cube sew the pieces together around it, if your using stuffing sew all the sides together but leave a 10cm gap so you can then put the stuffing in then sew the gap closed.

Next make the head pieces, you will need 6 in light pink and 6 in dark pink. Once you have made the head pieces take one light pink and one dark pink and place so the light pink has 2 blocks at the bottom and 1 at the top and the dark pink has 2 blocks at the bottom and 1 block at the top.

Join the 2 pieces together by lining up the top 1 block of the light pink and the bottom 1 block of the dark pink and sewing to secure. Next sew the head pieces to the block with 2 on the top piece and 2 on each side.
