February’s been full of love themed makes here and there’s one final one that I completely forgot to share – I got a little sidetracked with some other makes!

This cute little bookmark is perfect for adding with a book as a gift and can be made in any colour combinations – I’ve got a blue and green one on my ‘to do’ list!

Finished size (approx.)

• length – 19cm.
• Diameter – 4cm.

Materials

• 4mm crochet hook.
• 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in pink.
• 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in red.
• Darning needle.
• Stitch marker.

Red Hearts – Make 3

Red wool, 4.5 mm hook

Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.

Row 1: sc, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, ss, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, sc, 2sc into next sc (13sc).

Row 2: 3sc, (htr/hdc, 2tr/dc,htr/hdc) into next sc, sc, ss, sc, (htr/hdc, 2tr/dc, htr/hdc) into next sc, 4sc, 2sc into next sc (20sc).

Fasten off.

Pink Hearts – Make 2

Pink wool, 4.5 mm hook

Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.

Row 1: sc, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, ss, (sc, 2htr/hdc, sc) into next sc, sc, 2sc into next sc (13sc).

Fasten off.

Sew the hearts together alternating between the red and pink hearts.

Using pink wool, cut 4 9cm long lengths, 

Fold them in half together and insert the loop into the bottom point of the last heart, next thread through the loose ends and pull to secure.
