It started with my previous mini Halloween decorations/stress balls pattern for a pumpkin, eyeball and mummy, and I had so many ideas leftover for more when I finished I decided to make those too! .
This time we have a bat, monster and spider to add to your Halloween decorations this year. These also make perfect little gifts when an alternative to sweets is needed!
I still have a few more ideas for these but I think they will have to wait for next year!

Halloween Crochet Decorations Pattern:
Finished size: 7cm in diameter.
Materials:
- 4mm crochet hook.
- 5mm crochet hook.
- Toy stuffing.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in purple.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in green.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in white.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in black.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in grey.
- Darning needle.
Halloween Bat Pattern:
4mm hook, purple wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring (5sc).
Round 1: 2sc into each sc, change to 2 strands of green on the final yo of the last stitch of the round (10sc).
Round 2: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from *around (15sc).
Round 3: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from *around (20sc).
Round 4: *2sc into next sc, sc into next three stitches. Repeat from *around (25sc).
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from *around (30sc).
Round 6: sc around (30sc).
Round 7:*2sc into next sc, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from *around (35sc).
Rounds 8-11: sc around (35sc).
Round 12: *sc2tog, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from * around (30sc).
Round 13: sc around (30sc.)
Round 14: *sc2tog, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from * around (25sc).
Round 15: *sc2tog, sc into next three stitches. Repeat from * around (20sc).
Round 16: *sc2tog, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from * around (15sc).
Add stuffing.
Round 17: *sc2tog, sc into next stitch. Repeat from * around (10sc).
Round 18: *sc2tog. Repeat from * around (5sc).
Fasten off.
Halloween Bat – Eyes
Make 2.
4mm hook, white wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 4sc into ring.
Round 1: (2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch) twice (6sc).
ss into first sc at start of the round and fasten off.
- In black, cast on and sew on pupil detail.
- Sew eyes on to the bat body.
Halloween Bat – Wings
Make 2.
5mm hook, black wool, using 2 strands at the same time.
ch7.
Row 1: sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc along rest of the row (6sc).
Row 2: ch1 (doesn’t count as a stitch) sc2tog, 2sc, sc2tog (4sc.)
Row 3: ch1 (doesn’t count as a stitch) sc along row.
Row 4: ch1 (doesn’t count as a stitch) sc2tog twice (2sc).
Row 5: ch1 (doesn’t count as a stitch) sc along row.
Now working around the edge of the wing:
ss into each stitch along the top edge, side edge and bottom edge. Into the 2 corners complete: sc, tr(UK)/dc(US), sc.
Fasten off.
- Sew the wings onto each side of the bat body.
- Sew along the front of the wing, then fold the wing over and sew down the back to secure.
Halloween Monster Pattern:
4mm hook, green wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring (5sc).
Round 1: 2sc into each sc, change to 2 strands of green on the final yo of the last stitch of the round (10sc).
Round 2: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from *around (15sc).
Round 3: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from *around (20sc).
Round 4: *2sc into next sc, sc into next three stitches. Repeat from *around (25sc).
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from *around (30sc).
Round 6: sc around (30sc).
Round 7:*2sc into next sc, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from *around (35sc).
Rounds 8-11: sc around (35sc).
Round 12: *sc2tog, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from * around. Change to black wool and a 5mm hook on the final yo of the last sc (30sc).
Round 13: sc around (30sc.)
Round 14: *sc2tog, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from * around (25sc).
Round 15: *sc2tog, sc into next three stitches. Repeat from * around (20sc).
Round 16: *sc2tog, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from * around (15sc).
Add stuffing.
Round 17: *sc2tog, sc into next stitch. Repeat from * around (10sc).
Round 18: *sc2tog. Repeat from * around (5sc).
Fasten off.
Halloween Monster – Eyes
Make 2.
4mm hook, black wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring.
ss into first sc at start of the round and fasten off.
Halloween Monster – Bolts
Make 2.
4mm hook, grey wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring.
ss into first sc at start of the round and fasten off.
- Sew eyes and bolts onto the monster body.
Halloween Monster – Mouth
- In black cast on and sew on the mouth detail.
Halloween Spider Pattern
4mm hook, Black wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring (5sc).
Round 1: 2sc into each sc, change to 2 strands of green on the final yo of the last stitch of the round (10sc).
Round 2: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from *around (15sc).
Round 3: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from *around (20sc).
Round 4: *2sc into next sc, sc into next three stitches. Repeat from *around (25sc).
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from *around (30sc).
Round 6: sc around (30sc).
Round 7:*2sc into next sc, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from *around (35sc).

Make a magic ring, ch1, 4sc into ring.
ss into first sc at start of the round and fasten off.
Make 2.
4mm hook, white wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.
Round 1: (2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches) twice (8sc).
ss into first sc at start of the round and fasten off.
- Sew the black pupil onto the white and then sew onto the spiders body.
Halloween Spider – Legs
Make 8.
5mm hook, black wool using 2 strands at the same time.
ch15.
sc into 2nd ch from hook, 6sc.
Fasten off leaving the rest of the row unworked.
- Fold the thicker part of the leg over onto the thinner part (just after the 6sc end) and sew to secure.
- Sew the legs onto the spider body.
