I’ve finally got chance to make some reusable face wipes and the added bonus was I had some cotton 4ply already in my stash that I could use for them!
Crochet Face Scrubbies Pattern
- 100% cotton 4 ply
- 4.5 mm hook
Using 2 strands at the same time (either 2 of the same colour or two different colours).
Change to a different colour at the end of round 5 for a different colour on the outer edge.
Bobble stitch:
yo, insert hook, pull up, yo, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook) yo, insert hook, yo, pull up, yo, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook) yo, insert hook, yo, pull up, yo, pull through 2 loops (4 loops on hook) yo, pull through all loops.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.
Round 1: 2sc into each sc (12sc).
Round 2: *sc into next sc, sc into row below. Repeat from * around.
Round 3: 2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat around (18sc).
Round 4: *sc into next sc, bobble into next stitch. Repeat around.
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Repeat around (24sc).
Round 6: *(ss, ch1, ss into next sc) ss into next stitch. Repeat from * around.
Fasten off.
