
Halloween crochet gift ideas…
The Halloween crochet makes are continuing here at the moment – I’ve still got a few more I want to try and fit in before I run out of time too!.
Next up are some mini crochet Halloween decorations/stress balls/jugggling balls – these are perfect for putting up as decorations for Halloween and are also great for little Halloween gifts.

Materials
- 4mm crochet hook.
- 5mm crochet hook.
- Toy stuffing.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in orange.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in green.
- 1x25g ball of DK wool in white.
- 1 x 25g ball of DK wool in black.
- Darning needle.
Halloween Pumpkin
- 4mm hook, orange wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring (5sc).
Round 1: 2sc into each sc (10sc).
Round 2: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from *around (15sc).
Round 3: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Re- peat from *around (20sc).
Round 4: *2sc into next sc, sc into next three stitches. Re- peat from *around (25sc).
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next four stitches. Re- peat from *around (30sc).
Round 6: sc around (30sc).
Round 7:*2sc into next sc, sc into next five stitches. Re- peat from *around (35sc).
Rounds 8-11: sc around (35sc).
Round 12: *sc2tog, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from * around (30sc).
Round 13: sc around (30sc.)
Round 14: *sc2tog, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from * around (25sc).
Round 15: *sc2tog, sc into next three stitches. Repeat from * around (20sc).
Round 16: *sc2tog, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from * around (15sc).
- Add stuffing.
Round 17: *sc2tog, sc into next stitch. Repeat from * around, changing to 2 strands of green on the last yo of the round (10sc).
Using a 5mm hook:
Round 18: *sc2tog. Repeat from * around (5sc). Round 19: sc around.
Fasten off. Weave the loose end around the last 5 stitches and pull tight to close.
Eyes – Make 2:
- 4mm hook, black wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring. ss into first sc of the round.
fasten off leaving long thread to attach.
Pumpkin Assembly:
• Sew the eyes on to the front of the pumpkin.
• Cast on a long strand of black wool and sew on the mouth detail.
Halloween Eyeball
- 5mm hook, black wool, using 2 strands at the same time.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring (5sc).
Round 1: 2sc into each sc, change to 2 strands of green on the final yo of the last stitch of the round (10sc).
Round 2: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from *around (15sc).
Round 3: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Re- peat from *around. Change to 1 strand of white on the final yo of the last stitch of the round (20sc).
Using a 4mm hook:
Round 4: *2sc into next sc, sc into next three stitches. Re- peat from *around (25sc).
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next four stitches. Re- peat from *around (30sc).
Round 6: sc around (30sc).
Round 7:*2sc into next sc, sc into next five stitches. Re- peat from *around (35sc).
Rounds 8-11: sc around (35sc).
Round 12: *sc2tog, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from * around (30sc).
Round 13: sc around (30sc.)
Round 14: *sc2tog, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from * around (25sc).

Halloween Mummy
- 4mm hook, white wool.
Make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring (5sc).
Round 1: 2sc into each sc (10sc).
Round 2: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from *around (15sc).
Round 3: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Re- peat from *around (20sc).
Round 4: *2sc into next sc, sc into next three stitches. Re- peat from *around (25sc).
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next four stitches. Re- peat from *around (30sc).
Round 6: sc around (30sc).
Round 7:*2sc into next sc, sc into next five stitches. Re- peat from *around (35sc).
Round 8: 13sc – change to black on the final yo of the last sc of the previous round, using 2 strands of black and 5mm hook: 2sc – change to 1 strand of white and 4mm hook on the final yo of the last sc: 5sc, change to black on the final yo of the last sc, using 2 strands of black and 5mm hook: 2sc, change to 1 strand of white and 4mm hook on the final yo of the last sc of the round, 13sc.
Round 9: 12sc – change to black on the final yo of the last sc, using 2 strands of black and 5mm hook: 4sc – change to 1 strand of white and 4mm hook on the final yo of the last sc: 3sc, change to black on the final yo of the last sc, using 2 strands of black and 5mm hook: 4sc – change to 1 strand of white and 4mm hook on the final yo of the last sc, 12sc.
Round 10: Repeat row 9.
Round 11: Repeat row 8.
Round 12: *sc2tog, sc into next five stitches. Repeat from * around (30sc).
Round 13: sc around (30sc.)
Round 14: *sc2tog, sc into next four stitches. Repeat from * around (25sc).
Round 15: *sc2tog, sc into next three stitches. Repeat from * around (20sc).
Round 16: *sc2tog, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from * around (15sc).
- Add Stuffing.
Round 17: *sc2tog, sc into next stitch. Repeat from * around (10sc).
Round 18: *sc2tog. Repeat from * around (5sc). Fasten off.
Large Bandages – make 2:
- 4mm hook, white wool. ch40.
htr(UK)/hdc(US) into 3rd ch from hook, htr(UK)/hdc(US) along rest of the row.
Fasten off, leaving long thread to attach.
Small Bandages – make 3:
- 4mm hook, white wool. ch39.
sc into 2nd ch from hook, along rest of the row. Fasten off, leaving long thread to attach.
Wrap the bandages around the mummy and sew to secure.
