Originally published back in 2016, here is a new and updated version of these mini stocking cutlery holders.
Following on from my 3D Christmas trees are some little mini stocking cutlery holders. These will be perfect for a Christmas table setting. You could also use these to go on bunting, for putting little sweetie gifts in or anything where you require a cute little stocking.

Sewing Tutorial: Christmas Mini Stocking Cutlery Holders
Materials
- Fat quarter set by The Craft Cotton Company in Canvas Stag.
- Ribbon to make bows (10cm lengths).
- Paper.
- Pencil.
- Pins.
- Thread.
- Needle.
- Scissors.
SEWING TUTORIAL: CHRISTMAS MINI STOCKING CUTLERY HOLDERS
- Draw and cut out a template for the stocking.
- Cut out the fabric.
- For each stocking;
- 2 pieces of the same for the front and back.
- 2 pieces of a different fabric for the lining.
- Take a front and back piece, place right sides together and sew around leaving the top edge unsewn. Leave unturned.
- Take a front and back lining piece, place right sides together and sew around leaving the top edge unsewn. Turn the lining out the right way. Place into the unturned front and back stocking piece.
- Line up the top edges and pin to secure. Sew around leaving a 5cm gap for turning. Turn out the right way and slip stitch the gap closed. Push the lining into the stocking.
- Make bows from 10cm lengths of ribbon and sew to the top of the stocking.
