It started with a rabbit themed Easter egg, and after making it I had a few more ideas for themed Easter eggs. Next up is a lamb themed Easter egg complete with lamb ears, bobbly texture and it still has the hidden storage compartment too!.
Finished size (excluding ears):
- 8.5cm tall.
- 5cm at the eggs widest point.

- Push out bobble stitches to the front.

Bobble:
[Insert hook, yo, pull up loop (picture 1), yo, pull through loop (picture 2)]x3 (picture 3) yo, pull through all loops (picture 4).
Easter Lamb Eggs Crochet Pattern
Materials:
- 4mm crochet hook.
- 25g ball of DK wool in white.
- 25g ball of DK wool in pink for the inside ears.
- Darning needle.
Lamb Body:
Main body:
In white:
Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.
Round 1: 2sc into each stitch (12).
Round 2: (2sc, bobble) x4.
Round 3: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from * around (18).
Round 4: (2sc, bobble) x6.
Round 5: *2sc into next sc, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from * around (24).
Round 7: sc around.
Round 6: (2sc, bobble) x8.
Round 8: (2sc, bobble) x8.
Round 9: sc around.
Round 10: (2sc, bobble) x8.
Round 11: sc around.
Round 12: (2sc, bobble) x8.
Round 13: *sc2tog, sc into next two stitches. Repeat from * around (18).
Round 14: (2sc, bobble) x6.
Rounds 15: sc around.
Fasten off.
Body base:
In white:
Make a magic ring, ch1, 6sc into ring.
Round 1: 2sc into each stitch (12).
Round 2: *2sc into next sc, sc into next stitch. Repeat from * around (18).
Ch9, ss into stitch at base.

Lamb Ears – Make 2:
Outer ear:
In white:
Ch6, sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc along rest of the row (4).
Round 1: sc around edge of the ear.
Fasten off.
Inner ear:
In pink:
Ch4, sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc along rest of the row.
Fasten off.
Lamb Tail:
In white:
Make a magic ring, ch1, 8sc into ring.
Rounds 1-2: sc around.
Fasten off.
Lamb Assembly:
- Take the bottom piece and sew onto the bottom row of main lamb body, only sewing for 3cm and leaving the rest unsewn.
- Take the pink inner ears and sew onto the outer ears.
- Sew the ears on to the lamb body.
- The loop from the base piece will wrap over the tail to secure.
