No play food set can be complete without some yummy strawberries! I chose to make three different sizes and they came together in no time at all. I know these will be a big hit as they are one of the recipients favourite fruits.
I have a few more ideas of some play food items to make, but I don’t think I will get them all made – there are just so many!
Crochet Strawberries Pattern:
Materials:
- 4mm hook.
- Red and green wool.

Round 1: make a magic ring, ch1, 5sc into ring.
Round 2: sc around.
Round 3: 2sc into same stitch, sc. Repeat two times, 2sc into same stitch.
Round 4: sc around.
Round 5: *2sc into same stitch, sc. Repeat from *3 more times.
Round 6: *2sc into same stitch, 2sc. Repeat from *3 more times.
Round 7: *2sc into same stitch, 2sc. Repeat from *4 more times, sc.
Round 8: sc around.
Round 9: *sc2tog, 2sc, repeat from *four more times, sc.
Put in stuffing.
Round 10: *sc2tog, sc, repeat from *four more times, sc.
Round 11: *sc2tog sc, repeat from *2 more times, sc2tog.
Round 12: sc2tog three times.
Fasten off.
