Time to go a bit wavy, with a textured crochet blanket

I’ve been working on a blanket for a while now, it’s taken me so long to get it finished because I couldn’t quite decide on the pattern and each time I started I wasn’t too sure whether it was going to be too wavy. After a number of restarts and pattern changes I decided to stop over thinking it and just go with the original pattern idea I had.

I was still worried about my decision until I got about a quarter of the way through the blanket and I saw the effect of all the waves together and I knew I had done the right thing.

With all the waves on this blanket it has a really textured feel and it is really warm and cosy. Blanket size is 98x98cm.

There was only one name I could call this blanket – introducing ‘going wavy’!. Pattern is available over on my Etsy and Ravelry shops.
