I’ve had a lot of requests for dog themed patterns and following on from my wall hangings I decided to do a pattern for some table mats – I opted again to use a dachshund pattern though I’ have got different dog pattern in mind for the next one!
I really enjoy corner to corner crochet and thought it was about time I got a few more corner to corner projects completed. First on my list was a football themed blanket. I wanted to add a bit more texture on the blanket so decided to make the footballs textured so they really stand out. To finish it off I added a white border so it would look like the white lines around the edge of a football pitch.
There can never be too much love – add even more with a love cushion
I think we could all do with a bit more love around and this cushion adds just that little bit more to a room. Its would also be a perfect gift for Valentines day which is sneaking up on us.
I received some fabric from The Craft Cotton Company and the light greys and pinks were perfect as I wanted the colours to be quite subtle and didn’t want anything too pink – which is unusual for me as I am a fan of very bright colours!
The tutorial to make this is available over on The Craft Cotton Company’s blog along with lots of other great makes.
It’s been a little while but its time for some more hooded blankets to be added to the collection!
First out is a dragon – he’s out first as he was getting a little impatient and I couldn’t risk any flame blowing in my craft bag! Its now time to fly off and have some adventures!
In sneaks another dachshund make….dachshund corner to corner crochet cushion
After my first few crochet Dachshund makes I still had a few more I wanted to do and first out is this Corner to Corner Dachshund Cushion.
